OASIS is the centralized database run by the state gambling regulator and has been implemented for player protection purposes. The database registers all players across sports betting and other forms of gambling, who are excluded temporarily or permanently from gambling - both for those who are self-excluded or were excluded by a third party.
All licensed gambling operators in Germany are connected to the OASIS system. Therefore, an exclusion set via a third party operator will apply at Betano as well. Equally, if you initiate a self-exclusion at Betano, it will also come into force elsewhere.
Each time a customer logs in, we are legally required to check the customers’ details against the database for an exclusion. If any IT maintenance is performed on the database, over which we have no control, this might result in issues for customers trying to log in.
How to select OASIS self-exclusion:
Please note that this will exclude you from all betting providers licensed in Germany
1. Go to Login → Account → Profile → Player protection and OASIS Self-Exclusion → Self-locking ban.
2. Download the corresponding form from the OASIS website.
3. Upload the completed form including ID card / passport.
Once set through the OASIS system, a ban request cannot be lifted earlier than after a period of at least 3 months, depending on the time-frame and type of the requested exclusion.
