OASIS is a centralized database run by the state gambling regulator, implemented for player protection purposes. It registers all players across sports betting and other forms of gambling who have been excluded — either temporarily or permanently — whether through self-exclusion or exclusion by a third party.
How OASIS works
- All licensed gambling operators in Germany are connected to the OASIS system.
- An exclusion set via any licensed operator will automatically apply at Betano as well.
- Equally, a self-exclusion initiated at Betano will come into force across all other connected operators.
Login checks
Every time a customer logs in, we are legally required to verify their details against the OASIS database. If scheduled IT maintenance is performed on the database — over which we have no control — this may temporarily affect customers attempting to log in.
