Although both functions serve a similar purpose, they have vast differences, please check below:
Account Closure
When your account is closed due to OASIS Self-exclusion or Account Closure/Self-Exclusion options, your access to our services will be blocked for the chosen time frame.
Account Deletion
Account Deletion happens at your request via Account → Privacy Settings → Account Deletion (for verified accounts) or you can send an email to dpo-office@betano.de from your Betano registered email, mentioning your username.
Your account will be deleted, and you won't be able to log in again or create a new account. Your data will be erased according to our retention scheme.
