In compliance with German law, Betano is required to apply a betting tax solely on player winnings. This means that you will not be charged any tax when placing a bet. Instead, a fee of 5.3% will be deducted only from your winnings in the event of a successful bet. The applicable fee is also clearly displayed on your betting slip at the time the bet is placed.
