There may be instances where the amount you receive differs from your betslip's potential winnings. Here are the most common reasons why this can happen.
Dead Heat
A dead heat occurs when two or more competitors finish with identical results. In this case, the odds are divided by the number of winners and the bet is settled accordingly.
- Example 1: Three participants finish in first place — all bets on any of the three are settled as winners at one third of the stake, with no changes to the odds.
- Example 2: Three footballers finish as joint top scorers — all bets on any of the three are settled as winners at one third of the stake.
Obvious Error
This occurs when the odds at the time of bet placement were clearly incorrect. Once the error is identified and corrected, the bet will be resettled at the correct odds.
Void Bet
A bet can be voided for various reasons, including incorrect odds, a postponed or cancelled event, technical issues, duplicate bets, or an inability to confirm the final result. When a market is settled as void:
- Single bets — your stake is returned to your account at odds of 1.00.
- Combination bets — the voided market within your betslip is settled at odds of 1.00.
